Pink
Cures was started in October of 2007. So far, we
have donated $2013 to the Susan
G. Komen Foundation. Each month, we will post our
donations below so you can track our progress!

In lieu
of birthday gifts this month, Tara asked for
donations to Pink Cures. As a result, we were able
to raise $206 in March!
April 2008 - $15
May 2008 - $135 -
We
received a couple of orders this month, but the bulk
of our donation in May was to Komen of Maryland
through the Spring Swing for the Cure golf
tournament. We took earrings to sell at the silent
auction table and were able to raise $110!
June 2008 - $190 -
We received a donation of two quilts from the
Sunshine Quilters of San Diego Quilt Guild, and
entered them into a silent auction at a fundraiser.
The pair closed at $190 at the end of the evening,
all of which was donated to the Susan G. Komen
foundation!

Thanks to generous donations from Betty Alofs and
the Sunshine Quilters of San Diego Quilt Guild, as
well as the Pink-A-Boo event we attended at Rumors
Salon, Pink Cures was able to donate $500 to Susan
G. Komen of Maryland! More to come in November!

Pink
Cures does not operate to make a profit. There are
no salaries to pay and no inventory to cover.
Corporate Sponsors donate the materials that we use
to make Pink Cures Originals (earrings and cell
phone charms), and volunteers donate their time to
making the Pink Cures Original items you see on our
site. Any vendors selling other items on PinkCures.com
pay a small monthly fee, which is also
donated. Pink Cures will use a small percentage of
the fees collected from vendors to maintain and host
this website. Any donations and all other proceeds
will be donated directly to the Susan G. Komen
foundation.
